Freelance Suite is built on a simple principle: your financial data belongs to you. This page covers both the iPhone app and this website, and says plainly what is and is not collected.

The app: what we collect

Nothing. Freelance Suite does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or financial data on external servers. All invoices, client information, expenses, income records, and tax estimates remain on your device. Bank or card statement files you import are read on your device and are not sent anywhere; the app never asks for your bank login.

This website: what is collected

What you type into the free tools is never collected. The tax estimator and invoice generator run entirely in your browser. There is no account, no database and no server of ours that receives your numbers, and the pages do not save them on your device either. Close the tab and they are gone.

What our hosting provider does record. This site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare records standard request information when a page is loaded: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. We use only the aggregate counts it gives us (how many times a page was loaded). That log never contains what you type, because what you type is never sent.

What we do not use. We set no cookies. We run no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, advertising code or third-party fonts. The site sends a security header (Content-Security-Policy with connect-src 'none') that instructs your browser to block these pages from sending data anywhere.

Field invoices for business staff

Small Business owners can send their staff an invite link to the field invoice page. The link carries the business's name, contact and payment details after the #, the part of a web address that browsers never send to any server, so those details never reach us or our host. The page works the same way as the free tools: what staff type stays in their browser and is not stored.

When a staff member taps "Send to office", their phone creates a small invoice file and lets them choose where to send it, for example by text or email. It goes only where they send it. The owner then adds it to the app on their own device. Because the link and the file travel through messages people choose to send, anyone who has them can read them, so owners should send invite links only to people they trust with those business details.

No accounts

Freelance Suite does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app or this website.

No analytics in the app

We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party services that monitor your behavior. We do not know how you use the app, how often you open it, or what invoices you create.

No advertising

Freelance Suite contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs. We do not share data with advertisers because we have no data to share.

Purchases

In-app purchases and annual plans are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ELS Innovations LLC does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment information.

Data storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework (on-device SQLite database). If you delete the app, your data is deleted. We cannot recover it because we never had it.

iCloud sync

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is synced using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure (encrypted, managed by Apple). This is entirely opt-in. We do not have access to your synced data. The app works fully offline without iCloud enabled.

Receipt photos

Receipt photos you capture are stored locally on your device alongside your expense records. They are never uploaded to any server or cloud service (unless you enable iCloud sync, in which case they are synced through Apple's encrypted CloudKit).

Third-party services

The only third parties involved are:

• Apple's App Store, for purchase processing, and Apple's iCloud if you turn sync on
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and records the standard request information described above

Children's privacy

Freelance Suite is a business tool designed for adult freelancers and small business owners. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and note the effective date.
